Very simply modification to the power supply; replacing single-turn potentiometers with multi-turn ones.

Nearly completed the AM portion of the radio but seem to have too much signal gain…

Building and testing the discrete amplifier, making a “dummy load” and fixing the radio stand.

Performed simple loading test on the power supply to measure maximum ripple when drawing high currents.

First of a few posts detailing my experience building Elenco’s AM/FM Radio Kit. First stage is assembling and testing the audio output and power input sections.

XP-720 Power Supply

I’ve been trying to figure out power supply options for my future projects and it’s been surprisingly difficult due to the fact that I need both positive and negative power rails. Elenco’s XP-720 might be the answer…

It’s been awhile but thanks to Ben I’m building circuits again…

My attempt to cross compile a more complicated Raspberry Pi application, that uses the native OpenCV and the PiCamera libraries on the target system.

Some photos of the completed synth project.

Yay, got the synth project working!
